If this makes sense to anyone in a good way, let me know

OKay, so there's always gonna be shit that upsets other people, I acknowledge that. However, recently, I've seen advertisements for industries that are a monopoly. and this upset me greatly. Specifically, it was on a subway and there was a whole lot of ads for Con Edison, but one has to use Con Edison. I believe so, anyway. My point is, why the fuck are they spending money on advertising, particularly at a time when oil is so expensive that one would hope the companies would be giving you a break. Instead, profits are being recorded at all time highs for these companies, and you'd expect the government to step in and be like, hey, lower your profit percentage to give people a break. But whatever, I think this is perhaps the worst essay I've ever written. My thoughts are unfocused, my writing unclear, and I haven't checled my facts. I'm working on instince here, and that's a dangerous thing, because I could very easily be mistaken. I just hope the point is made about how services like water, where one company is in charge of an area, shouldnt be advertising because if you dont have a choice, its not advertising, its propaganda. By having ads, they are merely trying to appease the masses at a time when they should be outraged and make them satisfied or even happy with their current level of service, believing they had a choice in the matter. I think I should hang up my writing cap, I'm burned out or something, and not from drugs neither, I've been thinking to hard lately and I think i broke my thinking thing... brain
