I suppose that for others, its about the sacredness of life. It's not something we mortals are capable of giving and taking at will. We can make babies, but we can't creat life from nothing. We can kill something, but we can't resurrect it. We don't have any true control over it, and whatever control we do try and assert is seen as an abomination. It's not our domain, is what I generally hear in not those words. Basically, it's not our place to say who lives and who dies, or what for that matter. We can eat meat for survival and nutrition some say, so there's a purpose there. But to arbitrarily meat out death is an anathema to our culture, it's perverted and twisted says society.

I suppose I'm one of those people that are capable of amazing accomplishments, whether it's for the greater good or horrible evil all depends on who I meet and what direction they will point me in. In the last few weeks I have bounced back and forth in complete indecision as to where I should devote my efforts and direct my life. What has it wrought? Read more essays to find out.
