Ok, to reiterate, it is not sexist what follows. It is a perspective, a comparison, and while in jest it may have kernals of truth in it.

Women are like road signs. It is a fair analogy, and the reasons were at first shocking to me, but as I explored it in depth I found it to be common sense. Let's explore, shall we?

Just as with road signs sometimes you must yeild or stop (yeild and stop signs?), and sometimes you just blaze on by without a second thought (speed limits?). Some men look for direction from women, or even help and support (road names or the hospital H?). I mean, let's seriously now think about it. Have you ever checked out a woman? Chances are you slowed in whatever you were doing. That's yeild. Have you ever paused a moment for a better look? Stop. And then talked to her, only to be rejected? No honking, $100 fine. Ever take the long way home because you happened to find yourself behind a nice ass? Detour. Ever walk by a volleyball game? Beware of rocks I think is appropriate. How about seeing a couple of guys hitting on a girl? Totally children at play. The penultimate example, a woman bringing out the best in you... depending on your point of view it will either be one of those cap University signs or cross Church signs.

Finally, Has a woman ever taught you something you didn't know? Obviously there's no sign parralel that, cause it never happens.
